Stand out from competitors – Send “Thank you” notes!

Updated: 13 hours ago

Yes, I mean an actual, physical note that you HANDWRITE or create (eCard).  Almost no one does this.  This is the point...and…the opportunity to stand out in your customer’s mind!

Contact you have in mind works remote?  Keep reading...ideas below!

Imagine if you received a note from a painter or a plumber that did some work at your house.  Would you be impressed?

Imagine the positive impact

You can either buy standard thank you notes, or…much better…have cards printed with your logo on the front.  Whomever you send the cards to is likely to have it on their desk and might even show it to others.  Free advertising for your company!

When to send a Thank you note

It does not just have to be for a deal you closed.  How about the following:

·      First meeting with important contact

·      Guidance you got from someone inside your client organization

·      Administrative Assistant who has helped you schedule meetings

Use your imagination to extend the list...

What if the person works remote?

Likely you do not have a physical address to send something handwritten.  Sending a simple text email is easy.  How about a little extra effort...

·      Thank you eCard

·      Brief Loom (or similar video)

Think you do not have time?

If you think you do not have time, consider how long it takes to acquire a new customer.  Compare that (likely weeks or months) to a few minutes and enjoy the relationship with your customer as it grows.
